The Art and Design Department at the University of Southern Indiana helps students define their artistic goals and prepares ?students to become contributing members of the art and design profession, the community and society as a whole. Four integrated academic areas - studio art, graphic design, art education and art history - advance technical and conceptual skills, cultivate critical thinking and fulfill creative potential.
The department offers art and art education majors with students earning either a Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Southern Indiana. At USI, the difference between the two degrees lies within the University Core 39 Curriculum.?
