Emerging Leaders offers USI freshman students the opportunity to develop new leadership skills, make new friends, and contribute to their university community. This program focuses on preparing individuals to succeed and contribute to USI as student leaders in subsequent years.

赚钱微信提现的消消乐Emerging Leaders will hear speakers, participate in workshops, learn about leadership opportunities on campus, and participate in other events. In addition, participants will attend an all-day retreat off-campus on Saturday, January 25, 2020, and complete leadership and reflection activities to successfully graduate from the program in April. Weekly meetings are currently scheduled for Mondays from 3 - 4:30 p.m. during the spring semester. Applications are due by Sunday, September 29. Interviews will occur October 10-17 and after applying, applicants will be contacted to select an interview time.?

Who Should Apply?

Freshman students who:
-Are committed to getting involved on campus
-Want to meet other first-year students

What to Expect?

Involvement includes:
-Attendance at the welcome event and fall social events?(Time, date, and locations to be announced)
-Attendance at the spring all-day retreat on Saturday, January 25, 2020 (Transportation and meals provided)
-Participation at spring semester meetings Mondays from 3 – 4:30 p.m. (no meetings on MLK Jr Day or the week of spring break)
-Complete leadership and reflection activities
-Participate in the Emerging Leaders Graduation Ceremony on Monday, April 27 from 3 – 4:30 p.m.
